After seeing photos of them lovingly prancing around Aspen over the holidays in their matching red snowsuits, it's clear newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are into practicing much more than their skiing! But when it comes to their baby-making plans, Cannon says--yes, it's part of the grand scheme, just not yet.

"We're definitely into planning a family and stuff but when everything calms down and we get the time," he told E!'s Mark Malkin at the Sundance Film Festival. "We're just running and gunning now and enjoying being newlyweds."

Better watch out Nick! Too much "enjoying being newlyweds" can land you with a family real quick!

The couple may want to wait because they're planning a collaboration of sorts. Cannon says, "It'll be something more out of fun than serious. We're going to do some comedy stuff together. You'll see us this year doing some really funny stuff."

Cannon is in Sundance to promote his film The Killing Room, also starring Chloe Sevigny and Timothy Hutton. He's also deejaying at tonight's House of Hype party for the wifey's new flick Push.

Of his own foray into film, Cannon says, "It was my first real chance to be a serious method actor. I lost like 20 pounds for the role. I didn't eat. I slept outside. I didn't comb my hair for a month. I went into seclusion."

But don't expect Mariah to go to the premiere! "She likes fun, lighthearted comedies," he explains.
