Parenting Practice For Jay-Z and Beyoncé?

When Jay Z and Beyoncé showed up in the Baby and Preschool section of FAO Schwarz, gossiping shoppers might have suspected a little Jay Jr. might be on the way.

But not so fast, you chin-waggers!

The couple were just treating their nephew, Daniel Julez Smith Jr., to a shopping spree at the New York toy store.

"They bought a ton of stuff," said a fan who was in the 5th Avenue store at the time on Saturday.

"That's got to be a very cool aunt and uncle to have."

And it sounds like the outing with Beyonce's sister Solange's four-year-old son might have provided some parenting practice for the couple, who celebrate their first anniversary this month.

"They were both great with the little boy," added our spy.

According to a source at the store, the trio "went straight to the second floor, walked around for a while and came downstairs where the group played with some Myachis hacky sack".

Then they took a Freaky Creatures Starter Kit, a remote control all-terrain vehicle, Clifford plush dog and an NYPD 14-piece playset to the cash register.

"Daniel left very happy as the threesome exited holding hands," said our insider.

Mr. and Mrs. Z were clearly in the mood for shopping over the weekend.

The same day the couple were spotted at around 3 p.m. that afternoon, strolling around in SoHo, checking out a sunglasses store and then speeding off in a Porsche.
