Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reveal The Name Of Their Newborn Son
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revealed the name of their newborn son!
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” the Sussex Royal Instagram account wrote on Wednesday, May 8. “This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen (Elizabeth II) to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) and The Duchess’ mother (Doria Ragland) were also present for this special occasion.”
Although everyone has been itching to find out the baby's name, it turns out Prince William and Kate Middleton's oldest son, Prince George, may have spilled the beans back in January! While petting a dog near his Grandmother's home in Berkshire, England, the five-year-old said "I’m called Archie," when the dog owner asked his name. According to The Sun, the little royal had a big grin on his face.

"Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning - a very healthy boy," Harry said in an interview shortly after news broke about his wife giving birth. "Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. This has been the most amazing experience I could possibly imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we are both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everyone out there. It's been amazing. So we just wanted to share this with everybody."
