Rascal Flatts’ guitarist and vocalist Joe Don Rooney has big news: He and wife Tiffany Fallon are awaiting the arrival of their first child in May.
“We are so excited to be adding a new life to our home,” Joe Don, 32, says.
“We cannot wait to become parents and cannot believe this time next year, we will be celebrating Christmas with a child,” Tiffany, 33, adds.
In September, Joe Don told me they were hoping to start a family in the near future. “One of these days we’re going to have some babies together,” he says. “I can’t wait. I hope they look just like her because she’s so beautiful.”

According to Joe Don, Tiffany will make a great mom.
“The most amazing thing about her is just how sweet she is and what a great-hearted human being she is, how much she cares about people, and how she treats people,” he tells me. “I’ve found that in her from day one. I love the fact that she understands me and understands my world. Although it’s hectic and two or three weeks might go by when she’s traveling the world doing her thing and I’m traveling doing my thing, the trust factor is always there. That commitment we have together is so strong. She makes me a better person. She makes me a better man. More of a man than I could have ever been. God introduced me to her, and I’m very thankful for that.”
Last month, Tiffany was named as part of the cast for Celebrity Apprentice, which debuts January 16 on NBC. The mom-to-be is slated to compete against Lennox Lewis, Gene Simmons, Carol Alt, and Stephen Baldwin. According to an NBC publicist, the pregnancy is not addressed in the show.
