Scott Disick lives in the moment when he hosts The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City just before midnight Saturday and into the wee hours of Mother’s Day Sunday morning.

Refusing to discuss his Mother’s Day plans or anything family-related, the father of Kourtney Kardashian’s child (and soon-to-be children) is just happy to be here at the dome-shaped club that is my favorite place in the world.

In fact, he loves The Pool so much that he starts partying here during the day, and remarks that he finds it funny that daytime Pool-goers soak up the rays as if they can get a tan even though it’s inside.

“The Pool draws a lot of attention, whether it’s me or every clubgoer that ever comes here,” the Keeping Up With The Kardshians star, 28, tells me after dining with his buddies at Dos Caminos. “It’s a fantastic place, and an unbelievable space. Not that many places are like this in the country, maybe even the world.”

He continues, “For me, I was very excited to host the first time last year, and I’m extremely excited to be able host it again. I’m very grateful that they asked me back. Sometimes when I do things, I’m not sure if they’re going to ask me back, but I’m more than grateful that I get to come back, because it’s a beautiful place and an unbelievable venue, so I’m very thankful for that.”

Indeed, he works hard for his money, and seems to be thrilled at the prospect of a guys’ night out away from girlfriend Kourtney, who is not on property.

He hops up onstage behind the DJ booth.

“We’re under a huge glass duomo, I guess you would call it, but I hope everybody has fun and appreciates this,” he says. “Atlantic City, let’s do it!”

Energetic Scott is anything but boring.

He offers clubgoers $100 to jump in the pool, gets on the mic in a cartoon voice to rap along to Snoop Dogg’s Drop It Like It’s Hot and riles up the crowd with NYC-New Jersey-Philly chants. He offers up his rendition of Happy Birthday to a clubgoer, and breaks a sweat while he’s clad in a Tom Ford suit with President Rolex watch.

But when Scott’s not onstage, he’s taking smoke breaks, and downing Heineken Light, bottled water and shots of chilled Patron with lime. He’s also busting dance moves, applying Carmex, laying down on his cabana couch texting away, and mingling with VIP fans as tunes including Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera’s Moves Like Jagger, Chris Brown’s Yeah 3X, Mark Morrison’s Return of the Mack and Rihanna’s We Found Love blast. Good thing for Kourtney, he's not remotely flirty with any of the women who adoringly trail him everywhere he goes.

After he leaves at 2:25 a.m., he plans to keep the party going across town at the Foundation Room before heading to NYC by limo.

“I’m very excited to be here, due to the fact that Atlantic City is very close to my home in the sense that I’m from NYC, so for me to be able to come to a venue like this makes me happy because I know it’s only 180 miles for me. It’s fun, and not too many times do you get to be in a place like this and host and enjoy the whole night.”

Late night … wonder how his Mother’s Day turned out?
