Twenty years ago a patriotic young lady, , and a footloose young man, , met. As history would have it, they later got married, settled down on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, had some kids and somehow managed to stay out of the Hollywood gossip machine.
And it’s not because they’ve somehow fallen off the face of the planet. If anything, they are some of the hardest-working actors in Hollywood. Kevin seems to constantly be churning out quality flicks, garnering acclaim for roles in The Woodsman (alongside Kyra) and The Air I Breathe.
Meanwhile, Kyra has won awards, including a 2007 Golden Globe, for her hit TNT crime dramedy The Closer, where she plays neurotic Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson. Keeping it in the family — Kevin has even directed a few episodes of the show.
Aisha Tyler, who worked with Kevin in Death Sentence, which opens today, says, “He’s incredibly generous and really laid-back. Considering he’s been a movie star for most of his life, he’s a very regular and cool guy.”
