Another A-list couple bites the dust! Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor, who seemed like the perfect Hollywood family with their two children, are calling it quits.

In a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight provided by his publicist Liz Mahoney, the pair, who were married for 17 years said, "With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.” Ben and Christine were last seen out together just weeks ago in mid April when they attended the Broadway opening night of "Groundhog Day" with their daughter Ella.

Considering these two have gone relatively under the radar, never dealing with marriage issues, at least in the public eye, the divorce news is certainly a shocker. And Ben, 51, is definitely a great actor because he showed no signs of having relationship trouble. Just last week he looked pretty happy in Cannes with Adam Sandler for the premiere of The Meyerowitz Stories.

Are you surprised he and Christine are over? Let us know in the comments section.
