When New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning looks back on 2008, he'll be smiling at a year that brought him both a Super Bowl ring and a wedding band, as the little brother of Peyton Manning swapped vows with college sweetheart Abby McGrew in a beachside ceremony in Mexico on Saturday.
The groom, who only months ago led perhaps the greatest upset in football history when his Giants put an end to the then-unbeaten Tom Brady and his New England Patriots, and Abby were wed overlooking the Sea of Cortez at the One&Only Palmilla Resort in Cabo San Lucas, while about five dozen friends and family, including Peyton, watched through tear-streaked eyes.

Eli and Abby met while students at the University of Mississippi and have been engaged since the 27-year-old football star proposed to her a year ago during a date in Hoboken, NJ.
