Hot couple alert! Kissing Booth star Jacob Elordi and model Kaia Gerber sparked dating rumors after the pair was spotted spending time together in New York City over Labor Day Weekend.

According to a photo, which was uploaded on Twitter, the two appeared to be holding hands while walking down the street. Another fan posted on social media that the gorgeous duo took a break from the heat and sat close to one another while they enjoyed the day.

This is the second time the pair has been seen together recently. Prior to their Big Apple outing, they were spotted eating dinner together in Malibu on September 2, where they were photographed leaving the restaurant separately. However, fans still speculated over the status of their relationship.

A source told E! News that the pair are just friends but did admit they are extremely compatible. “Jacob definitely has interest in dating Kaia, but there is nothing serious going on there,” the insider dished to E!. “They have many mutual friends and have hung out many times in the past. They both have very chill personalities and similar interests. Jacob makes Kaia laugh and her family adores him.”

The insider also added that “Kaia is keeping things friendly for now but there is flirtation between the two. She has told friends she is single and is only having fun and hanging out with people.”

Elordi, 23, was most recently linked to his Euphoria costar, Zendaya. Although their relationship was never confirmed, the two were seen looking quite comfortable with each other on multiple occasions. Before Zendaya, Elordi dated his Kissing Booth costar, Joey King.

In August, King revealed what it was really like to work with her ex Elordi after their split. “No one’s thinking to themselves, ‘That was easy,’ because it wasn’t,” the California native told Cosmopolitan magazine. “I’m sure people will analyze every movement and every detail. And you know what? Let them.”

For her part, Gerber, 19, briefly dated SNL alum Pete Davidson during the fall of 2019, but things ended after just a few short months. “She’s very young and I’m f--king going through a lot and it was before I went to rehab,” Davidson told radio host Charlamagne Tha God. “It’s just like — she should be having fun.
