Karina & Maks: She's the Boss!

Newly engaged Dancing with the Stars pros Karina Smirnoff, 30, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 29, took a break from the ballroom at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort and Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona, where they got facials and massages at the Joya Spa on Dec. 28.

Though Maks is known for being a dominating dance partner, offstage, he lets his lady take the lead. An insider tells OK!, "before scheduling a treatmnent he said, 'I have to check with the boss!'"

The couple became engaged on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas, where they rang in 2009 at the Wynn Hotel. The pair have been dating since the summer and are currently performing on the DWTS winter tour, which wraps up in mid-February.
