Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have indeed tied the knot in the Bahamas, E! News is reporting.
The network says it received confirmation from an island resident who revealed the superstar couple was married on Wednesday in the Bahamas.
The source, who lives on the island of Eleuthera, said the ceremony was attended by two other celebrities and that Eleuthera Florist prepared the bouquets for the wedding on Wednesday. "Yes, my son did the flowers for the wedding," Eleuthera Florist employee, Henrietta White, told E!.

The legality of the marriage, however, is still in question because the island's registrar's office has not yet provided documented proof that the couple obtained a marriage license.
Meanwhile, Extra has learned that Mariah has pulled out of an upcoming appearance on The View. The episode was scheduled to tape on Monday, May 5.
