NEWSRep Confirms Nick & Vanessa Split

After more than three years together, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have decided to call an end to their romance and go their separate ways.
In a statement released Tuesday night, a rep for the former MTV VJ confirmed that the pair had "amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another."
The couple had been dogged in recent months by rumors, which they denied, that their relationship was in trouble. In fact, on June 17, they were out together and smiling for the cameras at an event for Save the Music in Hollywood.

Nick, 35, and Vanessa, 28, began dating in early 2006 after the very public end of his marriage to pop star and actress Jessica Simpson had ended in November 2005.
