Scarlett Johansson raised her ring finger to show off her engagement ring as she accepted congratulations on her way into the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala, held in NYC on Monday night.
Wearing Dolce and Gabbana, the 23-year old actress (who is engaged to cutie Ryan Reynolds) was smiling as she happily flashed her new sparkler.
One of the many men sure to mourn the loss of the eligible bachelorette is Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick, who attended the event with his castmates Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and Michelle Trachtenberg. Westwick recently that Scarlett is the most beautiful woman in Hollywood because, "I love her style."

When told she announced her engagement today, Ed said his heart fell. "Damn!" he said. "I'm very, very, very, very disappointed. Her boat has sailed."
So will he wish her congratulations?
"No," he says. "Congratulations...there you go."
