Between travel engagements to promote her new film Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Scarlett Johansson is working on her own engagement — and wedding — to fiancé Ryan Reynolds.
Friends say the 23-year-old beauty, who was spotted back in February trying on Monique Lhuillier dresses in L.A. and paging through In Style Wedding and Brides Magazines on Aug.5 in Beverly Hills, will most likely want something simple.
"Scarlett's not big on some over-the-top wedding with white doves and 300 guests," a pal of the actress tells OK!. In fact, the friend says the actress and 31-year-old Reynolds are thinking of having a small civil ceremony with just the two of them and Scarlett's twin brother Hunter as the witness.
Ever the fashionista however, one thing Scarlett won't skimp on is a dress! The Senior editors at Brides Magazine recommend the Amsale one-shoulder wedding gown. "It's modern and its understated line is perfect for her curves," they tell OK!.

Although the actress told OK! she has no wedding date set, she joked "I'm very excited. Hopefully I'll be able to get through Canadian immigration much faster now!"
As for how Ryan's holding up, pals say, "He's just so excited she said 'Yes' that he doesn't care when or where they wed, as long as she says 'I do.'"
