With wedding season in full swing, we decided to take a second to pay homage to the ladies who have been killing it lately, beauty wise. Whether you're the bride, the MOH, or a bridesmaid, there's always one common goal on the big day: to look flawlessly pretty. Celeb makeup artist Danielle Russo tells you how to do just that in her summer makeup guide.

Bridesmaid Makeup How-To:

Lucy Hale was a bridesmaid in her sister Maggie's wedding and Ashley Greene stepped up to the plate to accept the same duty at her publicist Lindsay's wedding. They both rocked a soft, natural look with a defined eye and slightly rosy lip—here's how to get it.

1. Start with a primer. This helps with wear-time of product on your face. Primer also helps create a smooth, even surface for the foundation while protecting your pores. Eye shadow primer is also a MUST for the eyes. It’ll be smudge and crease proof, guaranteed! Recommendation: MAC Prep+Prime Skin Natural Radiance.

2. You want to make sure you use a nice foundation that has the perfect finish and coverage you desire. Recommendation: MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 will provide full coverage with a natural finish.

3. Use concealer for under eyes to help brighten any dark circles and cover any unwanted blemishes.

4. Be sure to set the foundation with some powder. This will combat shine and be picture perfect for the photographer! Recommendation: MAC Prep+Prime Transparent Powder to create a smooth, flawless, photogenic surface.

5. You always want to shape and fill in the brows. Brows shape the face so you want to make sure any sparse areas are filled in with a pencil and/or brow powder.

6. Use an off-white or neutral color as the base color for all over the lid, then apply a neutral brown eye shadow or soft grey in both darker and lighter colors on the eye crease for a light smoky eye. Blending the lighter colors with the darker will help create a smooth transition in the crease.

7. Curl your lashes before applying any mascara and always use waterproof mascara. Tears will most likely be flowing on the special day.

8. Using a bronzer along the hairline, cheeks and jawbone will add the perfect amount of sun kissed life back to the face. Using blush in a soft pink will provide the perfect rosy cheek fresh look.

9. The final touch always ends with the lips. In this case a pretty pink lipstick with a touch of gloss will do the trick!

This makeup how-to will also work perfectly for achieving Ashley Greene's gorge bridesmaid look:

FACE:

1. Prime the eye to ensure the shadow lasts and looks smooth using MAC paint pot in 'Painterly,' then apply an HD foundation with medium coverage for a natural finish.

2. Buff out the foundation for a sheer look using a kabuki brush, then conceal under the eyes using a slightly lighter shade than your skin color to brighten the area. Set the foundation with a setting powder using a powder brush.

3. Next, apply a pink-colored blush onto the apples of the cheeks and some bronzer around the hairline, contouring the cheek to give the skin a beautiful, healthy glow.

EYES:

1. To create a strong eye that will pop in pictures, line both the top and bottom of the eye with a black pencil to really define it and open it up.

2. Using a dark (almost black) shadow, blend it onto the lid taking it out to a point at the outer corner of the eye to begin creating a smoky look.

3. Use a lighter brown eye shadow color (like MAC 'Cork') apply it to the crease of the eye. This will help blend the black into the crease and soften the line.

4. Taking a darker, warmer brown eye shadow (try MAC 'Handwritten') lay it over the black starting in the corner and work into the crease of the eye.

5. Go back with the black eye shadow one more time to enhance the corner of the eye and blend everything!

6. Then, go back over the black eye liner with a liquid liner to redefine the line and wing it out slightly.

7. Finally, using a MAC pencil brush, take the darker, warmer brown shadow and go over the line to to soften the black liner under the eye.

LASHES:

Make your real ones look like fake ones! The eyes are already lined right at the lash line so now we just need to curl, slightly dust with translucent setting powder then apply several coats of mascara. The translucent setting powder helps the lashes look thicker and longer!

LIPS:

With a bold eye, the lips should remain soft. Try MAC 'Have to Have It' lip liner and 'Pink Lemonade' lip glass gives you the perfect kissable look!
