Elaine Stritch, famous Broadway performer and actress, has passed away at 89, one of her friends confirms to the New York Times.

Elaine got her start back in the 1940's on Broadway and theater, but most recently, Elaine is known for playing Jack's overbearing mom on 30 Rock.

While Alec Baldwin and co haven't yet tweeted their condolences, Lena Dunham has already paid tribute to the actress with this photo on Instagram. The caption simply read, "Enjoy it all." Ugh, Lena Dunham just always knows what to say in every situation.
