According to the insider, Bloom has passed a crucial test on his way to Perry’s heart — meeting the singer’s parents! The source said that Bloom recently had his first meeting with Perry’s father and mother, Keith Hudson and Mary Hudson, opening the door to a possible engagement to the singer.

“This is a huge step, because everyone knows how wary Katy’s folks were about her previous relationships,” the insider said. “She’s a lot closer to her folks than people realize.”
