Entourage hottie Emmanuelle Chriqui is going to be back on the hit HBO show a lot more than last season, which is just the kind of spice the male-dominated show needs.

“I’m going to be on quite a bit!” she told OK! when we caught up with the starlet at a party at the Inocente Tequila New Year's Eve party at the Gansevoort Hotel in NYC. “It’s going to be good.”

And while you’d think the tan Canadian beauty (whose last name is pronounced "Shreeky") would have producers groveling at her feet, she says she had to audition just like everyone else to score the coveted role of Sloan, the ex-girlfriend of E (Kevin Connolly) and the daughter of a Hollywood exec.

“It was an audition, three times and that was it,” Emmanuelle, 31, says of the role she scored in 2007. “Kevin and I just instantly had a connection and it was great. It was just like a no-brainer.”

On top of Entourage, Emmanuelle says she’s got a few movies in the works. “Nothing I can talk about yet, but 2009’s going to be hot,” she says. And she’s spending time working on her passion project, a charity called Raise Hope for Congo.

“It’s a charity very close to my heart,” she says. “We’re raising awareness to the women and girls in the Congo. It’s the most dangerous place in the world for women to be.”

She’s kept busy getting signatures for a petition that she says will be given to Barack Obama at the inauguration this weekend. “The petition is to give to our President Barack Obama on Jan. 20 to take immediate action to help the women and girls over there.”

With her new projects in the works and the new season of Entourage starting in the summer of 2009, this year will be a big year for Emmanuelle.

“It’s a new fresh beginning!” she says.
