The 64th Annual Emmy Awards kicked off with stars like Zooey Deschanel and Kathy Bates racing to help host Jimmy Kimmel get ready for the big event, before Ellen DeGeneres comes to the rescue with his pants, of course.

Jimmy then got things kicked off with an opening monologue that ragged on no one in the room voting for Mitt Romney to his prediction that Jon Hamm was definitely not going to win for Mad Men.
