50 CENT READY TO HAVE HIS CAKE, AND EAT IT TOO

Fresh off partying with and presenting with arch nemesis at the MTV Video Music Awards, ’s third album Curtis is in stores today (September 11).

The 32-year-old rapper, who’s been shot nine times, says his worst habit is his sweet tooth.

“I eat junk food a lot,” he tells me, smiling, on the red carpet at Fashion Rocks. “I like cake.”

Talent aside, I vote 50 in his chart battle against Kanye, whose album Graduation is also in stores today. He’s a survivor, he’s fun, he’s a good sport and he’s way taller than Kanye, 30, who made it that much more obvious when he pulled the infamous short-guy tippy-toe trick onstage at the VMAs. Kanye should be short and proud … not short and jealous.
