Abercrombie & Fitch Sues Beyoncé Over Perfume

Sept. 16 2009, Published 9:23 a.m. ET
Beyoncé Knowle's latest plans to launch her perfume, Sasha Fierce, have been put on hold. Women's Wear Daily reports that Abercrombie & Fitch Co. sued the pop diva's alter-ego, claiming that they have copyrights for their perfume Fierce.
Beyoncé filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in September 2008 for Sasha Fierce, but A&F isn't happy with that: The retail giant says they began selling Fierce in 2002 and trademarked the fragrance in 2003.
