Beyoncé Knowle’s latest plans to launch her perfume, Sasha Fierce, have been put on hold. Women’s Wear Daily reports that Abercrombie & Fitch Co. sued the pop diva’s alter-ego, claiming that they have copyrights for their perfume Fierce.

Beyoncé filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in September 2008 for Sasha Fierce, but A&F isn’t happy with that: The retail giant says they began selling Fierce in 2002 and trademarked the fragrance in 2003.

Perhaps it’s time to start looking for a new perfume name, Beyoncé… Maybe a Single Ladies fragrance with hints of lavender? Halo with a whiff of freesia? The possibilities are endless!
