Adam Sandler sported a black eye last night at the 2011 People's Choice Awards and it wasn't just to get the sympathy vote!

Adam accepted the award for Favorite Comedy Star and simultaneously showed off his lovely shiner.
"I wanted to go see the Black Eyed Peas and the lady thought I said, 'Black eye, please,'" he joked as an explanation to the crowd.
