Katy Perry may lead the back with nine MTV Video Music Award nominations, but British powerhouse vocalist Adele is hot on her heels! The singer has seven nominations and reveals she was blown away by all the love she received from MTV.
Adele's VMA noms celebrate her hit "Rolling in the Deep," with nods for Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video.
She is tied for second-most VMA nominations with Kanye West!
"Flabbergasted about the VMA nominations! Thank you, thank you MTV!" Adele wrote in a post on her website. "I'm thinking about releasing a range of chairs to celebrate!"
She added: "I can't wait to see everyone's performances. If they're anything like the last couple years it's gonna be so exciting. Huge props to Sam Brown, the director of 'Rolling in the Deep!' "
