Adele To Perform at the Grammys After Undergoing Throat Surgery!

After being forced to cancel her U.S. tour to undergo throat surgery on her vocal cords, Adele is back! The soulful singer announced today that she will be performing at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 12!

"I'm immensely proud to have been asked to perform at this year's Grammy Awards," Adele says in a press release posted on the Grammys website. "It's an absolute honor to be included in such a night, and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all."
It's been five months since she last performed live at the MTV Video Music Awards, and Adele can't wait to get back on stage and show off the voice that has captivated the world.

And she won't just be performing — Adele is up for six nominations this year, including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Short Form Music Video for "Rolling In The Deep," Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for 21 and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Someone Like You."
