The original Wonder Woman herself is happy to pass on her lasso of truth to the next Hollywood star who will don the iconic star-spangled short shorts and gold tiara. Lynda Carter has wished Adrianne Palicki the best as the 27-year-old actress takes off on her invisible jet, bringing TV a new generation of Wonder Woman!
David E. Kelley has finally found his superheroine for the remake of the 1970s classic, which will debut on NBC, and Lynda deems the 5'11 Toledo, Ohio native worthy of the par.

Adrianne will play Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), and being on the small screen is nothing new for the star.
Aside from her role on NBC hit Friday Night Lights, she appeared in the short-lived series, Lone Star last year. Later this year she’ll also appear in the Red Dawn remake.
In a twist of fate, superhero themes are nothing new for the Ohio-born actress. She’s appeared in Smallville and Supernatural and even had a role in the Aquaman TV movie!
