Adrianne Palicki is new 'Wonder Woman'

Holy Toledo! She has the invisible jet, the lasso, and the killer accessories. Well, now she has a new face, too! Adrianne Palicki, star of Friday Night Lights, will take on the role of the superheroine, Wonder Woman for David E. Kelley's revival of the classic comic.

As indicated by E! Online, Adrianne will play Diana Prince (a.k.a. Wonder Woman). Being on the small screen is nothing new for Adrienne. Aside from Friday Night Lights, she appeared in the short-lived series,Lone Star last year. Later this year she'll also appear in the Red Dawn remake.

Ironically in a twist of fate, superhero themes are nothing new for the Ohio-born actress. She's appeared in Smallville and Supernatural and even had a role in the Aquaman TV movie!
