After Lunch...

At the sunset soire at Pacific Edge I showed restraint keeping myself to one of Bethenny Frankel's SkinnyGirl margaritas and marveling at her SkinnyGirl lollipops. Not your run-of-the-mill sucker, these pops have swarovski crystal stems and covers if you can't finish all of the candy at one time! Bethenny said the SkinnyGirl lollipops, that will come in flavors such like Margarita, and are obviously fat and sugar-free, will retail for around $6 and be available mid-summer! Yum Yum.

I also met MC Hammer at the party (yes, random) and saw one of my other new favorite people, Laker Lamar Odom do a shot of Veev (the Lakers have a few days off) and bond with professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler. To put it plainly, I think Lamar may sincerely be one of the nicest people on the planet. Well, except when he's on the court, the game I went to Monday he won game MVP! Wow, it's already been a week since I went to the game where the Lakers won their series against the Utah Jazz. The same time this Monday I'm meeting Lamar for coffee to chat about all of his endeavors off the court (from his Rich Soil clothing line to his philanthropy Cathy's Kids Foundation) although of course the current playoff and finals will be priority topics of conversation as well. Will let you know what other insight I gain from him at some point over the weekend ;) xo
