Aimee Teegarden Cast in The CW's Pilot 'The Selection,' Inspired By 'The Hunger Games'

Hey Hunger Games fans, if you're looking forward to the books hitting the big screen, then you'll love this! The CW Network has created a new show similar to that of The Hunger Games, and they have cast Aimee Teegarden as the lead character!

According to TVLine.com, the Friday Night Lights star, who has also been seen in movies like Scream 4 and Prom, will star in the drama pilot The Selection, based on a forthcoming series of books by Kiera Cass.
TVLine describes the show as being "an epic romance set 300 years in the future which centers on a poor young woman who is chosen by lottery to participate in a competition to become the next queen of a war-torn nation at a crossroads." Sounds intense, right?
