Just one week after Sports Illustrated model had the dance floor pulled out from under her on the hit ABC reality show Dancing With the Stars, buff male model , 22, gets the boot, continuing a trend of early eliminations for the show's model contestants that goes back to supermodels Rachel Hunter and Paulina Porizkova, who both received speedy eviction notices from the dance competition in previous seasons.

Are they too sexy for the dance floor? “Throughout the entire show, models have never done well — they don’t have the fan base," Jonathan Roberts, whose wife, Anna, was Albert’s professional partner, told OK!. "We were really hoping Albert would be the first one to break through, because he had so much personality and charm and was such a good dancer.”

Meanwhile, Albert remained philosophical about the whole thing. “In life, you sometimes have these wonderful experiences and they don’t work out the way you planned," he told OK! after the elimination. "It’s about how you rebound from it and keep pushing forward. I had an amazing time.”

The hunky dude also says that his show business career will continue, perhaps in movies. “We’ve got some deals on the table already.” He’s also planning to do an album of country music blended with some Chet Baker-style jazz.

His fellow DWTS contestant, All My Children star , admits to OK! that he thinks Albert could have a future acting. “Just judging by his personality and talking to him backstage, I think a soap opera would snatch him up in a heartbeat.”
