Whether it's Alec Baldwin or a honeymooning Kim Kardashian, Twitter is all a buzz about the upcoming storm to hit the east coast this weekend. As Hurricane Irene gears up for her wrath, several celebrities voiced their thoughts to stay safe for the weekend.

As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, Alec actually quoted a scene from Shakepeare's King Lear! He tweeted, “Enter LEAR and Fool. Lear. Blow, winds, andcrack your cheeks! rage! blow! You cataracts and hurricanoes, spout.”

On a less thespian-ish note, the Twitter feed for Piers Morgan Tonight indicated, “Yes, that is 'Come on Eileen' as we go to break. Or, as we've been calling it around the office: 'Come on Irene.'"

Even the mayor got into the act but his was based on a more informative nature. Mike Bloomberg tweeted, “Know your zone. Have a plan.  #Irene Shelters in #nyc will be open at 4 pm on Friday for people evacuating from low-lying areas.”
