As the Broadway hit Rock of Ages heads to the big screen with Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand and Julianne Hough, there's one A-lister who's officially dropping out and that's Alec Baldwin.
As for the reason why his last minute change of heart? Sounds like Alec has a personal medical condition that needs immediate attention, according to Deadline (via Huffington Post). Considering filming will begin on May 23, someone else will have to be cast in his role as Dennis Dupree, an aging rock star and bar owner, who has a big musical number in the movie.
