It may almost be Independence Day, but Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas clearly want to celebrate togetherness! The couple, who became engaged in April, made their union official yesterday after much speculation that the official nups were on the horizon!

The ceremony took place in NYC, at the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral, according to E! News. A friend of the couple, Matthew Hiltzik, announced the news on Twitter: Hilaria Thomas and Alec Baldwin were married this evening...in New York City, sharing the occasion with family and friends inside the Cathedral, and Alec warmly receiving congratulations from well-wishing fans on his way into the service."
