Alec Baldwin made a splash in the news last week when he popped the question to 28-year-old yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas, but behind the scenes, the actor has been dealing with a stalker.

Genevieve Sabourin, a Canadian actress, was arrested last night for allegedly stalking Alec at his apartment building in NYC. Apparently she met Alec in 2002 on set at the movie, The Adventures of Pluto Nash.
The New York Post reports the 40-year-old actress allegedly sent e-mails and text messages to Alec indicating she loved him, wanted to have his baby and, oh, yeah, she also needed money. Not only that, but she allegedly flew from Montreal to his house in the Hamptons on March 31, too.

Despite eluding authorities a few weeks ago, Genevieve reportedly followed the 30 Rock star back to NYC. A few days later she apparently showed up at an event at Lincoln Center where Alec was appearing.

Well, she was arrested yesterday after allegedly showing up at his apartment building. The doorman called Alec, who was in the Hamptons, and he notified the cops. She was busted on charges of aggravated harassment and stalking.
