Ali Fedotowsky Gets "5 Staples" in Head After Kayaking Accident With Roberto Martinez

Ali Fedotowsky had a bit of a scare over the weekend during what was supposed to be a fun kayaking trip in La Jolla, Calif., but luckily her fiancé Roberto Martinez came to her rescue!

"Ali & Roberto had a little mishap when their kayak capsized this weekend," Ali's rep confirms to OK!. "Ali was taken to the hospital and had 5 staples put in her head."

An insider tells OK! Roberto rushed to save Ali out of the water and then sped to the hospital on Sunday.

"Roberto was fantastic — he kept her calm and took great care of her," her rep added. "She is doing fine, and actually off to work this morning."

And Ali confirmed the news herself on Twitter!

"Made it out of the ER w/staples in my head & a little less hair after falling out of a kayak," Ali Tweeted. "Scary stuff. Wearing a helmet next time."

"I think I freaked out more when the doctor cut my hair rather than when he put staples into my head. Lol," she added. "Very thankful to be ok."

And Ali's fans have been busy Tweeting her their support.

"Thanks so much everyone for your concern," Ali wrote. "Big headache, but managed to hide staples w/hair part and I am back at work this morning."
