MTV’s hit reality show The City will be a whole lot different next season – say hello to the single ladies!
The show’s star Whitney Port recently split from rocker boyfriend Jay Lyons and co-star Erin Lucas, who is no longer dating Canadian musician Duncan Davies, says nothing’s better than being single in the city.
“There’s going to be a lot of dating,” Erin told OK! at the grand re-opening of the Patrick Melville Salon and Spa on May 28 at Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. “I’m holding true to my three guys, 30 percent rule nowadays.”
After never-ending boy drama and heartbreak, both girls are playing the field and living up the single life in Manhattan – including recently single Whitney, “I know she’s dating a couple guys too so she seems happy,” says Erin.
While Whitney was questioning whether her move to the East Coast was a mistake at the end of last season, the 24-year-old couldn’t enjoy the Big Apple more.
“I’m getting in the groove, I’m liking (New York) a lot more now,” Whitney told OK! at a Trunk Show and Shopping Party at Owl's Lab NYC on May 28. “It really did take some time to adjust.”
With Whitney and Erin’s ex-flames no longer on the show next season, there will be plenty of room for new loves.
“It’s been fun,” say Erin. “I’m single so I’m dating up a storm!”
