After a crazy year, Amanda Bynes may finally be getting the help she so desperately needs.
According to TMZ, the struggling former child star is currently in a Los Angeles hospital on a 5150 hold, an involuntary hospitalization for mental evaluation that can last up to 72 hours.
TMZ cites law enforcement sources as saying Amanda was admitted after firefighters rushed to put out a small fire she had set in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., yesterday evening.

After the blaze was out, firefighters reportedly called the sheriff's department to investigate the incident.
"Based on her answers they determined she needed to be hospitalized on a 5150 hold," reveals TMZ.
