'American Idol' Alum Alex Lambert Homeless

He won the hearts of millions of Americans on one of the biggest TV networks, but former American Idol contestant Alex Lambert has not been living the dream since his days on stage. The season 9 finalist is only 20, but is facing the harsh reality of being homeless.
Alex is currently living on the streets of L.A. He just finished up working on Simon Fuller's post-Idol web show If I Can Dream.
"Ever since IICD ended I've been kinda homless! Sleepin on the street and behind buildings.I have a choice to stay and persue my career or go back to texas and not do music! I'm usually a strong person but I can't take it anymore," he Tweeted today.
Alex continued with a series of Tweets, remaining hopeful despite his current situation.

• I'm a poor boy yall! Never had nothin in my life. please be greatful for everything you have. Because there's people out there with nothing!
• There's no way i'll ever stop making music as long as i live.. I didn't mean it like that! I just want yall to know the truth!
Adam also Tweeted the below video addressed to "all my fans that really know me."
