OK! NEWS: AMERICAN IDOL BLOG — THE TOP 11 PERFORM MOTOWN SONGS
Marc Anthony worked with the contestants this week to help hear themselves better on stage. He even disagreed with some of wife Jennifer's critiques this week as he watched the show! But he said he'd love to do it again! Then group song time! The Top 11 belted out "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and really showed off their pipes. These are usually cheesy but this one was actually fun to watch! And surprise, Stevie Wonder appears on stage to sing with them! But it's not over yet. It's Steven Tyler's birthday and they surprise him with a cake! This is really cute.

Finally results time. Lauren, Scotty and Pia were asked down to center stage. And after trying to fake them out, they were all safe and all going on tour! Sugarland came on to perform next to keep the suspense going even longer. But then time for more results. But first a fun video showcasing James and Paul's love for wrestling! But then they had to get their results, but not before Hulk Hogan surprised them on stage. Wow. I really thought James was going to lose it. He was so freaking excited. And Hulk delivered the great news: They were both safe!
Jacob, Thia and Stefano were up next! Jacob was safe! But Thia and Stefano were in the bottom 3! Both had so-so performances so not surprising at all this week.

Casey, Haley and Naima came to center stage next. Pretty sure that Haley should join the bottom 3! But nope! Shocking result: Casey joins them in the bottom 3. So our bottom 3 is Casey, Stefano and Thia. Looks like Thia has to go home or will a guy finally get cut? But before we can find out, Jennifer Hudson comes out to perform. She looks and sounds amazing. An incredible Idol success story.

And now the time has finally come. And oh my God, Thia is safe! Will it be Stefano or Casey?! They are both so talented! And wow, it is Casey. Casey is the lowest vote-getter! But as he starts to sing for the save, the judges shockingly cut him off. Wow. They already want to save him. Casey is going to so lose it. I really think he might pass out. This is actually quite emotional to watch. He asked the judges if they are sure. He went and hugged his parents. Awwwww.
So the top 11 will all go on tour and two people will be cut next week! What an emotional episode! The Top 11 again will perform next Wednesday at 8 p.m.!
