Sophia Shorai, who is 28 and has been doing very well on the show, is the daughter of a famous former fugitive in St. Paul, Minn. — Sara Jane Olsen.
Sarah is a former Symbionese Liberation Army fugitive, the Pioneer Press reports.
Sophia was reportedly born in Zimbabwe in 1982 where her father, Dr. Gerald "Fred" Peterson, was working as a physician and her mom, a fugitive at that time, taught drama and English.
In 2011, Sara pleaded guilty to participating (under her given name, Kathleen Soliah) in the SLA's deadly 1975 robbery of a Sacramento-area bank and to helping place pipe bombs under L.A. police patrol cars.
She served seven years in prison.
