'American Idol' Recap: Top 13 Results Show

While all of the contestants gave their best this week during performance night, it was Ashthon Jones, Haley Reinhart and Karen Rodriguez who were voted into the bottom three of the evening.

When Ashthon was sent packing after singing a Diana Ross number on Wednesday, it was judge Jennifer Lopez who had to deliver the bad news to the singer that she wouldn't be saved.
"Not this time, baby, I'm sorry," J.Lo said, explaining that Ashthon would not be the panel's one pick to save over the course of the season.

Despite the bad news, Thursday night's live show gave way to much cheerier moments as American Idol alum Adam Lambert took the stage to perform "Aftermath," written in honor of the Trevor Project.

Later on, Diddy Dirty Money hit the stage to perform with Skylar Grey and gave the competitors a word of advice afterwards. "Don't stop!" Diddy encouraged the cast.

Unfortunately, contestant Casey Abrams missed out on all of the action as host Ryan Seacrest announced that the vocalist was back in the hospital feeling under the weather.
"Feel better!" Ryan gave his well wishes to Casey on air, "shout out to the nurses, get back here soon!"
We hope to see Casey back next week to reclaim his spot in the remaining top 12 finalists!
