Amy Adams owes her fame and fortune to independent films.

“In independent films, you have an opportunity to take chances because there’s not as many people involved with telling you how it’s working,” the Enchanted star, 33, tells me. “Also, independent films will cast people who are lesser known in parts and give them an opportunity to really act. In that way, I’m so grateful.”
