Amy Winehouse & Tony Bennett Duet to Be Released Soon

Considering one of the last tracks Amy Winehouse ever recorded was a duet with legend Tony Bennett, perhaps it's only fitting "Body and Soul" will be released with all of the proceeds going to the charity her father created in her name.

The jazz track will be one of the first new songs of Amy's that her fans will hear since she passed away. Although Tony's Duets II album is scheduled to be released on September 20, he indicated this track will be released in advance.
He told MTV (via RadarOnline), "What's going to happen is that we're putting that Body and Soul out ahead of the album. And it's going to a foundation that her father started - to teach all the young children not to take drugs, and all the royalties of the record will go to that."

It sounds like her dad, Mitch Winehouse, couldn't be more pleased about the release. He said, "Amy was so excited to be working with Tony Bennett and really looking forward to her fans hearing this new recording."

Mitch added, "The fact that Amy's voice is sounding as amazing and beautiful as ever and she is singing with the great Tony Bennett seems the most fitting tribute of all at this very difficult time." Awww.
