Thieves have broken into Amy Winehouse's apartment in London, where they reportedly made off with several sentimental items belonging to the recovering rocker.
The Sun is reporting that burglars kicked in the padlocked front door and ransacked Amy's home in Camden, North London, stealing her flat screen TV, five guitars and digital recording equipment. Police were called but the thieves had escaped by the time officers arrived.
Some of the items were recovered but Amy is said to be devastated. The Rehab singer, 23, has been staying on the island of St. Lucia in an attempt to recover from her drug addiction. She was set to fly home this weekend.
"Amy is devastated. Some of the guitars are irreplaceable due to their sentimental value," a source tells the paper. "The flat is in a real state. It had been cleaned up in preparation for her return. Now she will have to start from scratch to replace what has been stolen."
