Last night at the Nokia Theater in L.A., pulses were pumping, that's for sure! After Lady Gaga received a standing ovation for her performance of "Marry the Night" wearing skeleton-like face paint, Grammy nominations were announced.
Amidst Rihanna's performance of "We Found Love" as tons of flitter flew through the air, Kanye West and Adele raked in big for the awards show set to broadcast on February 12. Kanye's "All of the Lights" got a nom for song of the year, best rap/sung collaboration and best rap song. Plus, his tune "Otis" got two nominations for best rap performance and best rap song. The 14-time Grammy winner (yes, you read that right!), landed two nominations in the best rap album category for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Watch the Throne with Jay-Z. As for British sensation Adele, her six nominations included record of the year, song of the year for "Rolling in the Deep" and album of the year for 21. She won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2009. As for some of the nominees, drumroll please...
