Following Andy Cohen’s meltdown after he was told to lose his umbrella while reporting in the rain on New Year’s Eve, the television mogul is turning the bad memory into a moneymaking scheme!
Insiders told STRAIGHT SHUTER that the Bravo king will now be releasing his own rain gear line.
Andy never lets an opportunity to make him more famous or more money pass him by and is planning on launching his own umbrella collection,” said one source.
“You don’t go from being an executive at Bravo to getting your own talk show and hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage if you are not in it to win it,” the source continued. “And you know, the umbrellas will have his face on them!”
Cohen, 50, famously went on a rant when New York City's Times Square Alliance forced him to close up his umbrella during a downpour on Dec. 31. Despite the live-telecast drama, he’s clearly turned the situation to his advantage.
