Angelina Jolie is making big strides to get the production of her directorial debut film underway. One big step Angie took for the movie — a wartime love story about a Bosnian woman and a Serbian man — was choosing actress Zana Marjanovic as the female lead!
Zana, 27, cant wait to get involved in the project.
The Bosnian actress said that the the screenplay was “fabulous” and she is looking forward to filming with such a “great actress and humanist” like Angie, according to Just Jared.
Hungary and Bosnia will both be used as locations to shoot the movie.
"It will be an epic drama against the backdrop of the 1992-95 Bosnian war," Zana told a Bosnian radio station today during a press conference. "It will be a story that will not push any political opinion but foremost a love story that plays out during the war."
