Angelina Jolie to Play Cleopatra

Angelina Jolie has been on hiatus from filming her newest flick the Tourist with Johnny Depp in Italy. But, the superstar mom of six is already being considered for a new role as Cleopatra.
The upcoming movie, which is being adapted from a novel by Stacy Schiff, “is being developed for and with Jolie,” producer Scott Rudin revealed to USA Today.

The biographical book, Cleopatra: A Life, has yet to be released under publishing house Little, Brown, but Schiff has already sold the rights to Scott’s film company.
