Angelina Jolie Squashes Haiti Adoption Rumors

Angelina Jolie adopting? While that headline always causes a stir, it's not true. Angie and Brad Pitt's camp finally spoke out about all the adoption rumors swirling around Hollywood's hottest parents.

“Earlier this week, the Daily Mirror U.K. and others reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the process of adopting a child from Haiti,” Angie's rep Adam Waldman of Washington’s Endeavor Group, said in a statement to The Daily Beast. “There is no truth to these rumors.

“Rather, Ms. Jolie is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti. As such, she has been meeting with government of Haiti officials, Haitian legal experts and non-governmental organizations regarding a new initiative of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The recently launched Jolie Legal Fellows Program will assist the justice system in Haiti to improve child protection.”

The report claimed it was "love at first sight" when Angie saw the young girl, who is allegedly 4 years old and named Leah, according to other various reports.

“There is no truth to these rumors,” the statement says. “Rather, Ms. Jolie is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti.”

So maybe Brangie isn't expanding on their beautiful brood yet, but we bet this isn't the last we will hear of the power couple adopting/procreating.
