Anna Faris welcomed baby boy Jack in August and now she's set to play a mom on the small-screen! The actress has signed on for show called simply, Mom, which focuses on Anna as a single and newly sober mom living in Napa Valley.

Hmm. We're thinking about some of Anna's previous roles, particularly in Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds and of course, the Scary Movie franchise — and it's making us very curious to see her in the role of single (and sober!) mom. No details about the age of Anna's television kid or kids, but we will keep you posted!

Mom is the brainchild of Chuck Lorre, who is best known for creating The Big Bang Theory and feuding with Charlie Sheen over his demise on Two and a Half Men.
